What to expect at The Skin Lab?

During a ClearSilk® treatment, your skin will be gently cleansed before the laser session begins. The ClearSilk handpiece is passed over the skin, delivering a warm, soothing sensation as it evenly heats the dermal layers without damaging the surface. Most patients describe the treatment as relaxing and comfortable, with no need for numbing. The entire session typically takes around 20–30 minutes, depending on the area treated. There is no downtime—your skin may appear slightly pink immediately after, but this fades quickly. You can return to your normal activities right away, with your skin feeling smoother and looking more radiant.

CLEARSILK VS MOXI/BBL/HALO

ClearSilk® is the gentlest of Sciton’s laser treatments, offering a no-downtime option ideal for redness, dullness, and early signs of aging. Unlike BBL which targets pigmentation and sun damage, or Moxi which resurfaces the skin with light flaking, ClearSilk provides subtle collagen stimulation with zero recovery. Compared to Halo, which delivers deeper, more intensive resurfacing, ClearSilk is perfect for regular maintenance or a pre-event glow—making it a great entry-level or in-between treatment.
