What to expect at The Skin Lab?

During a Moxi Laser treatment session, patients can expect a comfortable and relatively quick procedure. Typically, the treatment area will be cleansed, and a topical numbing cream may be applied to ensure minimal discomfort. The Moxi Laser device is then used to deliver controlled pulses of fractional laser energy to the skin. Patients may experience a warm sensation or mild tingling during the treatment, but it is generally well-tolerated. Depending on the specific concerns being addressed and the size of the treatment area, the session may last anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes. After the treatment, patients may experience some temporary redness or mild swelling, which usually subsides within a few hours to a few days. Over the following weeks, patients can expect to see gradual improvements in their skin texture, tone, and overall appearance as the skin undergoes the rejuvenation process stimulated by the Moxi Laser treatment.

MOXI vs HALO

MOXI vs HALO

When comparing Halo and Moxi laser treatments, both offer innovative solutions for skin rejuvenation, but with some notable differences. Halo utilizes a hybrid fractional laser technology that combines ablative and non-ablative wavelengths to target both superficial and deeper layers of the skin, offering comprehensive results for concerns like fine lines, sun damage, and uneven texture. On the other hand, Moxi focuses solely on non-ablative fractional laser technology, providing a gentler approach suitable for individuals seeking subtle improvements with minimal downtime. While Halo may deliver more dramatic results in a single treatment session, Moxi's milder approach makes it ideal for those with milder skin concerns or those who prefer a gradual enhancement. Ultimately, the choice between Halo and Moxi depends on individual skincare goals, severity of concerns, and tolerance for downtime. Consulting with a skincare professional can help determine the most suitable treatment option for each person's unique needs.
