Medik8 H.E.O. Mask
This product is currently unavailable.
H.E.O. Mask has a deeply hydrating effect on application and continues to work overnight so that you start the day with a visibly plumped, nourished complexion; free from crepey fine lines, flakiness, tightness and general discomfort that are all associated with dehydration. Applying before bed, as the last step in your evening skincare routine, bestows a better way to start the following day and usual morning skincare and beauty regime - no more peeling makeup and visible flakiness. The formula has been carefully optimised to address persistently dry and dehydrated skin; whether caused by lifestyle factors, genetics, living in colder or low humidity environments, central heating or perhaps an overly drying skincare routine. This advanced mask helps to address the symptoms and the causes of dry skin in all of these scenarios. Or even more broadly, it’s for anyone who finds their usual routine just isn’t quite moisturising enough. Applying 2-3 times a week allows you to ramp up the moisture in your regime by working alongside your favourite day and night creams. Skin becomes increasingly hydrated with continued use.
Directions for Use
After cleansing in the evening, as the last step in your skincare routine, apply the blue gel of H.E.O. Mask to face, neck and décolletage, avoiding the eye area. Allow to absorb for a few minutes then gently massage the white cream of H.E.O. Mask into the same areas. Leave overnight, and cleanse as usual in the morning. Apply 2-3 times a week or as required. As always, a patch test is recommended prior to first use.
Multi-weight hyaluronic acid - Able to hold up to 1000 times its own weight in water, hyaluronic acid sinks easily into the skin where it draws moisture to itself, leaving the skin both plumped and supple. Glycerin - A small yet powerful molecule and arguably the most well proven humectant across skin research. Draws water to itself from the lower layers of the skin. Natural Moisturising Factors - Found naturally in the stratum corneum, Natural Moisturising Factors (NMF) work to bind and hold water in the skin. NMF levels in the skin decline as we age, therefore NMF components, such as urea, amino acids and sodium PCA are useful to restore hydration in more mature skin. Blue Sea Kale - A water soluble marine plant extract derived from Crambe Maritima. Helps to stimulate natural hyaluronic acid synthesis. Ceramides - A selection of lipids naturally found in the waterproof barrier that sits on top of the upper layers of the skin. Ceramides are essential for retaining water, regulating cells and helping to repair the skin’s natural protective shield. Squalane - An almost skin-identical lipid, squalane helps to restore the skin’s defences and deeply moisturises the complexion. Dimethicone - Its water repelling properties helps to prevent moisture from escaping at the skin’s surface. The large molecules form a vapour permeable barrier over the skin, allowing skin to breathe while preventing moisture loss
