What is 3 for Me
Three For Me™ is a multimodal facial aesthetic treatment which combines multiple technologies to maximise results. What technologies are used?
The treatment is performed using Cynosure’s Advanced Icon Max G IPL and Fractional laser technology.
Cynosure Advanced ICON MAX G IPL
ICON MAXG IPL photo rejuvenation offers superior vessel and pigment clearance that goes beyond single-wavelength lasers. IPL uses a bright light in front of which filters are placed to censor certain wavelengths not consumed by pigment and blood vessels.
The light energy penetrates just below the skin’s surface, damaging either the melanin (skin pigment) or blood vessels. The body’s natural skin repair mechanisms then remove the damaged tissue to produce a smoother skin appearance.
ICON Fractional 1540
This laser can penetrate deeply enough to stimulate the collagen but not damage the skin surface. It delivers light to the skin through an array of high-precision microbeams that penetrate into the dermis. Since the Icon 1540 delivers fractionated light, the treatments are safer to use on all skin types and produce consistent results.
It is much less invasive compared to ablative laser procedures such as CO2, resulting in a faster recovery time.
What skin concerns it addresses?

How long is the procedure?
The procedure is only 30 minutes.
The Procedure
The first step uses Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology to treat discolouration and even out skin tone. Skin discolouration can include sun damage such as freckles, brown spots or age spots. This step also treats unwanted facial veins, including broken blood vessels, spider veins and rosacea to reduce redness in the skin.
The second step uses two different depths (XD & XF) of non-ablative fractional laser technology to fully rejuvenate the skin. This will encourage skin renewal for a smoother appearance. This unique technology stimulates new collagen and elastin production, which is the key to supporting the structure of your skin. Fine lines, wrinkles, scars, open pores and other surface imperfections are dramatically reduced, restoring a youthful complexion.

Is it painful?
Numbing cream is applied to reduce discomfort prior to treatment. Feeling heat and slight discomfort can be experienced. Just as with every other laser treatment, the sensation can be best described as an elastic band lightly flicking off the skin.
Downtime
Depending on the condition of the skin and on the home care routine, could be between 3 to 7 days.
How many treatments
Usually a course of 1-3 procedures every 4 - 6 weeks. However, as everyone’s skin concerns are different, your aesthetician will discuss your treatment options and expectations during skin consultation.
