💥 Client Profile: male, 30s, mild acne and bilateral mild acne scarring.

💥 Treatment: 2 courses of micropeel to remove dead skin cells and increase cell turnover. Microneedling helped increase collagen and elastin, however, some deeper acne scars will require fractional laser treatment to correct skin texture permanently. 

💥 Outcome Timeline: 12 weeks

💥 Skincare: the main focus of the skincare products was to increase skin cell turnover, repair skin barrier and protect skin from the sun. Obagi Clenziderm active daily foaming cleanser (2% salicylic acid) was recommended to help unclog pores and wash away dead skin and imperfections.

A potent nighttime treatment featuring 0.3% pure retinol was incorporated to accelerate cellular turnover. Hydrating facial moisturizer helped with barrier repair and skin hydration. 

👉 Follow up: acne scars can be effectively treated with fractional laser. It is a non-invasive procedure that uses laser, specially made of carbon dioxide, to remove the outer layers of damaged skin. a course of 4 treatments was recommended.
